MasterChef Cupcakes
These lovely gourmet cupcakes are some that I took along with me to local radio station Hot FM as part of their "MasterChef Mackay" competition in which I was a finalist & the eventual winner!
I prepared two similar flavours which complimented each other very nicely.
The first were a chocolate & poppyseed sponge topped with orange & dark chocolate chip Swiss meringue buttercream.
These were adorned with smashed Jaffa lollies & a custom made marshmallow & royal icing MasterChef logo topper.
The second were a orange & poppyseed sponge topped with a rich dark chocolate whipped ganache.
These were finished with orange sugar coated chocolate sprinkles, orange sugar crystals & a custom made marshmallow & royal icing MasterChef logo topper.
